Our Facility

Lenox Hill Hospital is a world class community teaching hospital located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, close to Central Park. Programs in Cardiovascular Medicine and Orthopedics consistently rank amongst the best in the United States.

Lenox Hill Emergency Department

With the generous support of our local community, in January, 2007 the expanded and renovated Anna and Isidore Falk Emergency Center opened. Often cited as a model for patient comfort in New York City Emergency Departments, the ER consists of 36 treatment areas, with the ability to flex up to 66 treatment areas.

Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, the Lenox Hill ER treats over 45,000 patients annually. We provide acute care to the full spectrum of ER patients; from neonates to the elderly. Our  patients come from diverse socioeconomic and geographic backgrounds. We treat local  neighborhood residents, tourists, foreign travelers, along with residents from all corners of Manhattan,  the New York City Boroughs,  New Jersey and Connecticut.

The Lenox Hill ER is easily accessible from all parts of New York City, due to our location at the 77th street stop of the 6 (Lexington Avenue) train.
